He is survived by his mother, Anna Maria Castellano; his father, Alex Castellano; his sister DeAnna Eylicio (Ramon); and nephew Isaiah and niece Sienna.
Leon had many skills but was most proficient in his computer skills. He was a master at identifying issues and resolving them. He was always available to help his family and friends with any problems or questions they had with their computers. He attended and graduated from La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, NM.
Leon was known to be a prankster or a jokester. He had a wonderful and silly sense of humor. He was quick with the jokes and always had one to share. He was caring and compassionate and loved spending time with his family. He cherished the family traditions of peeling green chile, baking biscochitos, making empanadas and making tamales. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and watched and rooted for a win by his team every football season. His home office was filled with Dallas Cowboy memorabilia. He was known for his Dallas Cowboy themed Christmas tree and home decorations. He was never afraid to try new restaurants and posted about them frequently. He enjoyed going to the movie theater and walking his dog, Bella.
Leon believed it was important to live and enjoy life. On a recent post on social media, he had posted and said, “Life is about fun and laughter”. And that is exactly how he lived his life. He will be in our hearts and memories forever. We love you, Leon.
