Lawrence Chavez

Lawrence Chavez, 61, a dedicated husband and father, passed away November 7, 2023. Lawrence was known for his passion for fishing, investment savvy, and his strong work ethic. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family including cruising and trips to cabins in the woods. He is survived by his wife, Cora Chavez, his daughter Christine Rodriguez, son-in-law, Eddi Rodriguez, and grandchild, Kevin Rodriguez. He also leaves his cherished pets Elvis and Bonita. He is also survived by his sisters, Inez Lamkin (Larry Lamkin) and Estella Perez (Ernesto Perez) and several nieces and nephews. Lawrence was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence Daniel Chavez, his mother and father, Elfego and Josephine Chavez, and his brother Elias Chavez. Services will be kept private at the wishes of Lawrence. Memorial contributions can be made to Heart Start New Mexico or any heart association of your choice.
