Laura Ellen Voisin, age 74, dedicated daughter, wife, sister, and caregiver to her family, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025. "Ellen" spent her professional life working for the Bell Telephone companies in Farmington and Albuquerque retiring after 30 years of service, and was a valued life member of the Qwest Pioneers. She was known for her friendship, concern, and care-giving to her loved ones, decorating and event planning for her former coworkers and friends, and her personal service to God and her church. She loved art, coloring, cooking, music, and entertaining. She is survived by her younger brother, Edward Hugh Bedingfield II of Adkins, TX, her older sister, Lou Anne Hampton of Albuquerque, NM, her niece Lindsey Paige Swetnam, husband Jerod Swetnam, and two grand nephews Kaleb and Wyatt Swetnam of Adkins, TX. Also touching Ellen's life was her long time dear friends Hilda Diaz and daughter Lorrie Beth of San Antonio, TX, and Bonnis George of Broken Arrow, OK. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents Edward H. and Lourean Bedingfield, husband Russell W. Voisin, and brother-n-law Glen R. Hampton. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 2:00PM - 4:00PM at French Funerals, Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. A celebration service of Ellen's life will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10:00AM, French Lomas Chapel.
