Kevin Richard Sanchez

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that the family of Kevin Richard Sanchez announces his passing. At age 39, his life was cut short when he went Home to walk with the Lord on the morning of August 21, 2022 following a tragic accident.

Kevin was born in Albuquerque in 1982 as a 1 pound preemie baby boy.  He was our miracle baby who blessed our lives with so much love and joy. He was born second of four children.  Kevin was the most gentle soul and a simple man with a carefree & loving nature.  He was handsome, kind, funny, talented, smart, selfless, honest, respectful & generous but best of all his heart was pure gold. Kevin loved Jesus and his famous words for the past months were “don’t worry about me, God will provide”.

Kevin would say his greatest accomplishments can be found within the many friends both inside and outside his family.  Kevin was loved by so many.  His positive outlook, beautiful spirit and kind heart left an impression wherever he went.  He was an extremely loving and passionate Uncle to his nieces and nephews. Everyone loved Kevin’s ability to bring joy & laughter into their lives. If you crossed Kevin’s path, you were his friend. Kevin loved the outdoors and loved to go on hikes.  Kevin’s true passion was music.  He loved everything about music and played the piano, guitar and loved to sing and record music.  Kevin’s friends and family will tremendously miss his presence in their lives, but rejoice in knowing Kevin is in peace, singing and dancing with our Lord.

Our memories are our keepsake and they will never part.  God has you in his keeping and we have you in our hearts.

Kevin is survived by his mother Karen Miller and husband, Dave; father, David Sanchez and wife, Sylvia; brothers Dominic & Chris Sanchez and sister Jennifer Sanchez; sister-in-law Krista Brewer & brother-in-law Miguel Palacios; nieces and nephews, Myranda Guillen (Kevin) , Isaiah, Malaya & Nathaniel Sanchez & Malaki Sanchez-Palacios; great-niece Grace Ella Guillen; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by grandparents Amado & Charlotte Sanchez, Richard & Domie Sanchez, uncles Juan Sanchez & Robert Padilla.

Pallbearers will be  Dominic Sanchez, Chris Sanchez, Isaiah Sanchez, Nathaniel Sanchez, Richard Sanchez & Miguel Palacios.
