Kenneth Andrew Leeper

Kenneth Andrew Leeper left this earth to join his brother, David Charles Leeper, on December 16, 2017. Kenneth was born September 1, 1954 in San Antonio, TX to Lyle C. and Lila Ann Leeper. He resided in Albuquerque, NM since 1955.

Kenneth attended Del Norte High School, graduating in 1972 and continued his education at the University of New Mexico. Kenneth was one with nature and had a special love for the Jemez Mountains. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved fly-fishing. He was an Eagle Scout and had many adventures during his years as a Boy Scout.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Daniel Underwood and wife, Danielle; his grandsons, Julien and Colton Underwood; Daniel's mother, Diane Underwood; his loving mother, Lila Ann Hansen; brother, Michael Leeper; step-brother, Craig Hansen; step-sisters, Ingrid Salomon and Anna Lane; uncle, Marvin Loar; and numerous cousins. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Leeper; and step-father, Ronald Hansen.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel NE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Presbyterian Hospice, 8100 Constitution Place NE, Suite 400, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
