Kelly Ann Kloeppel Rutherford, age 57, a life-long resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, February 23, 2018.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristen Rutherford and fiance, Shannon Schroeder; son, Chris Stedman and his wife, Danielle; mother, Rose Kloeppel; sister, Kim Kloeppel; brothers, Keenan Kloeppel and wife, Marilyn, and Kenneth Kloeppel and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Ryan and Hannah; nieces and nephews; best friends, James Schultz and cousin, Pammy Marie Miera; her beloved dogs, Paris, Heidi, and Pierre; and numerous other relatives and friends. Kelly Ann was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Kloeppel; and son, Kenny Rutherford.
She was born in 1960 in Amarillo, TX and lived all of her life in Albuquerque. Kelly Ann graduated from Valley High, Class of 1978. She worked at VCA Animal Hospital for many years. Kelly Ann was a hardcore Dallas Cowboys fan, accomplished artist, woodworker, and photographer, and loved hiking and fishing, especially in the Jemez Mountains where she could spend hours fishing in mountain streams. Her smile could light up a room and her laugh was contagious. She had a way of making everyone around her feel better. Kelly Ann was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Cremation has taken and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018, 12:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas.
