Kathleen Marie Hale Riley

Kathleen Marie Hale Riley, “Katie”, age 46, formerly of Albuquerque passed away Monday, December 14, 2020. She was a graduate of Valley High School in 1992. Preceded in death by her father, Bruce Hale. She is survived by her best friend and husband Kevin; her son, Noah Altamirano; mother, Marcella Neville; brothers, Joe and Nate, their wives Kendra and Alex; sister, Jenny Hale; grandmother, Marilyn Hale; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Funeral Services which may be streamed from the FRENCH-University website will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020, 1:00 p.m. Katie will be laid to rest with her father at the Sunset Memorial park located at 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Due to COVID restrictions, graveside services are restricted to five family members; anyone wanting to pay their respects should remain in your vehicles until the services have ended.
Seldom has the world seen such an amazing spirit as Katie. She had the ability to, not only light up a room, but to ignite it! Her unbridled passion for life was unique and was like a magnet to anyone and everyone. Always accepting and always sympathetic to anyone in need; she was the best friend, daughter, sister, and wife that anyone could ask for. Anyone who knew her felt lucky to be a part of her life. We will all miss her giant hugs, her unmistakable laugh, and of course, the ability to string together any number of expletives into a coherent sentence. We pray and know that she is in the arms of the Lord and her Dad now where they are sharing great times again.
