In Loving Memory of Kathleen Marie Brown
August 24, 1967 - September 21, 2025
Kathleen Marie Brown was born to Robbie Jean and James Brown. She was lovingly raised by her mother, Robbie Jean, and stepfather, Henry Ralls.
She leaves behind two beloved younger siblings, Lee and Gregory Ralls.
Kathleen was a devoted mother to three children: her eldest son, Edward Simpson; her eldest daughter, Kiara Bajonero; and her youngest daughter, Robin Prioleau. She was also a cherished wife to Haskell Lee and a loving stepmother to Todd Jones, Cameron Lee, and Tremaine Jones.
Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Zariah Smith, Kendrick Cox, Genesis Bajonero, Milah Lee, Kailani Lee, Ayden Tafoya, and many more who were blessed to call her "Grandma."
Kathleen had a passion for basketball and bowling -both watching and playing-and a huge, compassionate heart for helping others. As a dedicated nurse practitioner, she touched countless lives with her care and compassion. Her generosity with her time, her energy, her advice, and in so many other ways provided invaluable support to a remarkable number of people.
She was proud of her faith as a Hebrew Israelite and always sought to learn and grow spiritually. Her greatest purpose, however, was raising her children to become strong, kind, and capable individuals-a mission she fulfilled with love and determination.
Even in her absence, Kathleen continues to guide and inspire those she left behind. Her strength, wisdom, and love remain deeply rooted in all of us. It hurts to say goodbye, but we know God called her home for a higher purpose, and we will see each other again someday.
She is watching over every one of us, just as she always did-with love in her heart and a protective spirit.
"To my beloved wife in heaven, thank you for being my motivator, my rock, my love, and a blessing in my life for over 20 years and counting. You are dearly missed."
- Husband, Haskell Lee
"To my mother in heaven, thank you for always loving and guiding me. Even though you are no longer here with me, I can still feel your love guiding me. You are always in my heart."
- First Born & Only Son, Edward Simpson
"Mom, I'm thankful for having spent 32+ years of my life with you. I'm thankful that I was allowed to call you my mom, and I'm sorry that it took me to lose you for me to really appreciate how phenomenal you really are. Thank you for everything you have done for me, and thank you for always challenging me to do better. I love you dearly, and I'm sorry for struggling to show you that. You left big shoes to fill. I will continue the work you started with Genesis. Genesis loves you to pieces and misses you dearly. Thank you, Mom, for everything. Rest in paradise, mom."
- Middle Born & Eldest Daughter, Kiara Bajonero
"Mommy, thank you for showing me what unconditional love truly means-and for being the perfect example of it every day. You are my greatest inspiration, my superhero, and my heart's home. Thank you for giving it your all to ensure my upbringing was solid. Your belief in me is the compass that guides me through life. I love you to the end of the numbers, and the numbers never end. Forever and always, you'll be in my heart."
