Kathleen Jeter, 75, passed away on May 16, 2025 after an extended fight with Parkinson's Disease. She was born on August 8, 1949 in Fort Worth, TX, the youngest of Mayo and Marjorie (Pat) Jeter's two children. She grew up all over the world due to her father's service in the US Air Force. They finally settled in Albuquerque and Kathleen began working for the Civil Service in the dining hall at Kirtland AFB. One of Kathleen's greatest accomplishments was climbing to the top of the Sandia Mountains. She was so excited to make it to the top. She loved her dog Sassy, cats, turtles and bird as well as many other dogs that she trained as show dogs. Kathleen spent time learning line dancing and belly dancing-much to the surprise of her family. She loved creating crafts such as origami and making greeting cards for holidays and special occasions. Kathleen embraced social media by creating a TikTok account where she posted often and enjoyed watching live feeds. She especially enjoyed her time in fellowship with her friends at The Way. Kathleen will be lovingly missed by her many friends and family members who will remember what a kind, loving and spunky person she was.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Kathleen's name to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (www.give.michaeljfox.org) or to the Parkinson's Foundation (www.parkinson.org).
