Kathleen Lois Earl

Kathleen Lois Earl, born on October 8, 1943, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 16, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Kathleen was the heart and soul of her family, whose warmth radiated through generations. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Garrison; grandsons, Michael Garrison and Nicholas Garrison; granddaughter, Tabitha Smith; great-grandson, Wyatt Garrison; great-granddaughter, Riley Garrison; and sisters, Jane Perry and Jeanne Giles. Kathleen was preceded in death by: Gerald Giles, Cleo Giles, and Jonathan Earl.

Kathleen embraced her family with patience, encouragement, and unwavering love. Her laughter filled her home with joy, and she nurtured her grandchildren as a source of comfort and inspiration. A gifted storyteller, she bridged the past with her tales, providing both entertainment and life lessons. Kathleen celebrated each milestone in her family's life, always ready with a reassuring hug that could ease any worry.

In her professional life, Kathleen excelled as a Corporate Trust Officer in the banking industry, retiring after a successful career marked by dedication and hard work. She instilled in her children and grandchildren the values of commitment and perseverance, teaching them that effort can turn dreams into reality. Outside of her career, Kathleen was an avid reader, particularly fond of mystery novels, and enjoyed the challenge of jigsaw puzzles. She also found joy in watching "The Big Bang Theory," where she humorously claimed her own special seat, much like Sheldon Cooper.

Those who knew her were inspired by her strength, her grace, and her boundless generosity. She wove together the threads of family, tradition, and hope, creating a tapestry rich with love and meaning. Her legacy endures in the lives she shaped and the memories she left behind - a testament to a life well-lived and a heart forever cherished.
