Jude Joseph Sanchez

Jude Sanchez, 35, beloved son, brother, and uncle was called to his eternal resting place on March 5, 2018. He entered this world on September 8, 1982 born to Hector and Martie Sanchez. He is survived by his mother, Martie Sanchez; his sister, Lara Sanchez; his sister, Desiree Sanchez; and his brother-in-law Hector Salazar; his nephew, Elijah Sanchez-Robertson; his godmother, Fran Gurule; his godfather, Matt Torres and his favorite Aunt Perla Torres as well as many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Hector Sanchez, grandparents, Joe and Martha Torres.

Jude was a lifelong resident of Corrales, NM where he loved playing among the trees of the Bosque and river as a child . As an adult his love for the village of Corrales blossomed into a beautiful relationship with the business community and residents. Jude was a talented self-taught Chef and entrepreneur who realized his dream by opening Las Ristras restaurant. He believed strongly in the ability of food to bring people together. He took our family recipes and shared them with love. Jude was not only a talented and creative chef but also a gifted musician and poet. He was a free spirit who loved to jump on his motorcycle and feel the wind on his face. Jude was a very loving and giving man who always found a way to see the best in every person who crossed his path. Jude's signature smile has touched so many people's lives and his beautiful soul is going to be missed by so many.

A Rosary will be held on Sunday March 11, 2018 4:00 p.m. at San Ysidro Parish 5015 Corrales, NM  87048. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. San Ysidro Parish.
