Juanita (Jenny) Rommes, age 95, died peacefully at home on Wednesday November 5, 2025. She was born to the late Pablo and Doloritas Nieto Leyba on August 28, 1930 in Cedar Grove, New Mexico.
Juanita was employed and retired from Mercy Hospital.
She is survived by her children: Ronald (Sharon) Rommes, Titusville, Florida, Robert Rommes, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Cecilia (Richard) Buzan, Hamilton, Ohio: grandchildren Christina, Douglas, Victoria, and Stephanie: Great grandchildren: Alyssa, David, and Aiden. Great Grandchildren: Ostin, Kennedy, and Patton: Great-great grandchildren: Logan and Marshall: Many nieces, nephews and cousins: Best friend, Jane Ingram.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Husband and brothers and sisters. Juanita loved her family very much and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be at French Funeral Home on Golf Course Drive, Albuquerque,New Mexico
on November 11, 2025 from 6:00 PM - 8 PM.
