Joyce Marie Murken

Joyce Marie Murken, 74, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 14, 2006. Born on February 29, 1932, in Indianola, Iowa, Joyce lived a life defined by vision, leadership, and community spirit. 

Together with her husband, Alro Murken, she co-founded New West Realty, where their dedication and professionalism helped countless families find homes and build futures. Beyond her career, Joyce's passion for golf enriched her life and the lives of many others. As President of the Women's Golf Association at Rio Rancho Golf Club, she organized tournaments that fostered camaraderie, competition, and lasting friendships. 

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arlo. She is survived by her children, son, David Murken and wife, Patricia, daughter, Liz Casey and her husband, Jay, and son, Joe Murken and his wife, Cherie. She is also survived by her three cherished grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy of love and dedication.
