Josephine Trujillo

In tranquility, Mom passed away at home on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at age 87.  She was born in Mogollon, NM on Saturday, October 9, 1932 to Jose and Victorina Soto.

Our dad, Edito O. Trujillo, predeceased Mom by four months.  They celebrated a union of 69 years having married Saturday, May 27, 1950 in Hurley, NM.

Mom is survived by four daughters, Dolly Mora, Irene Jiron and her husband Richard D., Nanci Trujillo, and Kelly Trujillo.

Mom has been blessed with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family members, and friends.  Mom, along with Dad, lived to see five generations.

Mom was instrumental in shaping our foundation of faith in God, the importance of going to church, and having a personal relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Mom was a prayer warrior.  She loved reading and reciting her scripture verses and attending bible study classes. Mom also enjoyed gardening and going for walks with Dad after dinner.

During their final years together, Mom and Dad would sit side by side on the love seat holding hands for hours on end.  Mom would touch Dad’s face so lovingly.

We love you, Mom.  You will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts.
