Threewit, Josephine Iverson
Jo Threewit, 99, passed away January 23, 2018 after a long and full life. She was born on October 4, 1918 in Caldwell, Idaho to Henry and Pearl Iverson. Jo was one of seven children and grew up on the family farm in Notus, Idaho. After graduating high school, she obtained her cosmetology license in Emmett, Idaho where she met and married Donald Threewit on June 19, 1937. With the onset of WW2 the young couple relocated to Los Angeles where Don worked in the defense industry and Jo was a homemaker and cared for their two daughters, Jo Ann and Vicki. Jo held leadership positions in many volunteer organizations. The Threewits moved to New Mexico as employees of the Good Samaritan Society in 1972. They lived in Artesia, NM for many years. Jo was eventually a resident at Manzano Del Sol Village, a good Samaritan facility in Albuquerque where she enjoyed excellent and loving care. Jo loved life and the Lord. “Life is wonderful!” Jo is survived by her loving daughters and their families. Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Manzano Del Sol Village at 5201 Roma Ave. NE Albuquerque, NM 87108.
