In the early morning of December 31, 2025, an angel of the Lord came to visit Josephine Sanchez, age 91 and long-time resident of Bosque Farms New Mexico. She was told that the Lord had prepared a place for her in Heaven as promised in John 14:2-3. Being a strong believer in Jesus Christ, she accepted the Lord's invitation and departed to dwell with Him.

Josephine was preceded in death by her father, Ignacio Aragon and mother, Manuelita Aragon. Her brothers: Gilbert Aragon, Raymond Aragon, Ernest Aragon, and Freddie Aragon, and her sisters: Ann Medley, Ninfer Sanchez, Isabelle Bollinger, and granddaughter: Frances Sanchez.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jesse Sanchez and their sons, Wayne Sanchez and Glenn Sanchez, her sister, Celina Sorroche, her grandchildren: Ben Sanchez, Michael Sanchez, Tim Sanchez and Amanda Candelaria, great-grandchildren: Brayden, Ava, Madison, Jaxson, and Haisley, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at FRENCH Lomas, with a vigil service to follow. After the service a reception will be held at FRENCH Lomas Reception Center. A graveside service will be on Thursday, January 22, 2026 - Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.

Pallbearers are: Ben Sanchez, Michael Sanchez, Tim Sanchez, Nate Candelaria, Jeff Sorroche and Joe Sorroche.
