Joseph Anthony Frias

Joseph Anthony Frias, 49, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Frias, brothers Michael and Steven Frias, sisters Maria (Phillip) Daw and Denise Frias, nephews: Seth, Elias, Malachi and Zebadiah Daw, and Isaiah Frias; nieces: Kateri and Angellisa, Sapphire, Opal, and Onyx Daw and Eliana Frias. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Tony Frias and brother John Frank Frias, his grandparents Frank and Petra Frias and John Seeley and Mary Seeley Alonzo.

Since the age of 16 he has worked at various placed of employment including John Brooks, Albertsons, Santa Ana Star and The Downs Casinos, Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and the New Mexico State Fairgrounds.  Joe was an avid bowler, bowling on many leagues and tournaments.  He was an usher at Mass and secured the church building every night.  He loved to frequent the casinos, play the lottery and watch sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Colorado Rockies and UNM Lobos.

Joe was a people person, a friend to everyone, had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need.

Services will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lomas and Tennessee NE on Friday, December 18, 2020, with a rosary at 10:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services will be limited to family only.
