Jose Paz Lopez Jr. age 92 long-time resident of Albuquerque and Las Cruces, passed away on Monday, July 7th, 2025. He was born October 28th, 1932 in Dixon, NM. He is survived by four children Jose Paz Lopez III and wife Kathi, Marsha Ann Quintana and husband Eli, Steven Joseph Lopez and wife Claudine, and Carla Martinez, eleven grandchildren Angela Akbarpour, Nick Lopez, Lawrence Quintana, Jennifer Rodriguez, Brandon Quintana, Thomas Quintana, Steven James Lopez, Jacob Lopez, Joseph Lopez, Marina Huber, Amber Martinez, eleven great-grandchildren Gabriella, Trinity, Jaiden, Tristan, Adrian, Brianna, Danica, Isaiah, Brooklee, Mateo, and Joshua and siblings Naomi, Bella, Dorothy and brother Paul, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Eulogia Lopez, father Jose Paz Lopez Sr., mother Leonarda Lovato Lopez, siblings Fabiola, Bertha, Betty, Minnie, Rose and Leroy and Jake.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 8th, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at French Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.

Graveside Service will be the same day from 12:30 noon to 1:30 PM at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.

Following the Graveside Service, a reception will be held at French Reception Hall, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112 where a meal will be served.
