It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the news of Caleb's sudden death on Friday, August 30, 2024. Most days his death feels unreal. We grieve for his life that was cut way too short.
Caleb was born in San Francisco on October 23, 1974. He grew up in Larkspur and he loved Mountain Tamalpais, Marin, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the NY Yankees and most of all his family.
We will greatly miss his big heart, infectious laugh and his remarkable ability to stir things up with a simple sentence. We will miss that wit and the way he had a knack for making us laugh as though we shared an inside joke, which in many ways, we did. He had a unique ability to make us think beyond the ordinary which was a gift.
Caleb was an old soul and a caregiver as a child to his brother and sister and as a young man, to his now deceased wife, Charlotte (Robbins) and as an adult, father to his son Jameson.
In addition to his son Jameson, Caleb is survived by the Curry Family, the Kearns Family, Dan and Alison Murphy Family, Eliza Pimentel and Peter Santillanes, McCabe Family, Samuel family, as well as the East Coast Sylvester family and the West Coast Sylvester family.
His absence leaves a profound void and he will be missed forever, but his spirit and the love he gave us will remain always with us.
In lieu of flowers, if you would like to help with Jameson's education, a GoFundMe has been set up.
We will include announcements and a date for the celebration of his life in the near future.
Go Steelers, Go Yankees!
