John Moulton

March 4, 1950 – November 10, 2018

John B. Moulton passed away on November 10, 2018, at the age of 68.   A dedicated runner, he passed away while running near UNM.  He is survived by his siblings, Pamela Moulton, Merion Estes, Roger Moulton, Lizzie Moulton; and stepmother, Harriet Moulton.  He is also survived by his ex-partner, Karen Fuller, and her children Sandra Kelley, Jennifer Gibson, and Katherine Ryals.  John felt blessed to be part of their lives, and considered them to be his family; their children and grandchildren considered John to be their grandfather.  Grandchildren are Kenneth Boyle, Andrew Wooden, Jacob Gibson, Nickolas Gibson, and Madeline Ryals, Owen Kelley, and Sydney Kelley.  Great-grandchildren are Henry Boyle and Lillith Ryals.  He also leaves beloved nieces Allie Estes Roche, Jameson Estes, Jennifer Duncan, and many cousins.

John received a PhD in Psychology from UNM in 1990, and worked at UNM as a Human Factors psychologist from 1999 to 2008.  He also worked for many years in the food and beverage industry, including Tanoan Country Club.  A trained mechanic, he maintained all his vehicles.  John enjoyed running, gardening, cooking, baking, and photography.

A Memorial Reception and Gathering will be held at FRENCH - University, 1111 University Blvd NE, on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m..
