John McGuire

John McGuire, 67, beloved Spouse and Son, was called to his eternal resting place on July 1, 2025. He entered this world on July 11, 1957, in Albuquerque, NM, born to Nihl and Margie McGuire.

Retired from the YMCA then worked at Quartermaster Sales, Ron Peterson's, and his favorite job in his later years was working at JTC.

John liked spending time with his granddaughters at Haynes Park. He was an avid gunsmith. His love of gunsmithing and gun sales began when he was working at Quartermaster Sales and continued with Ron Peterson's. He loved going for motorcycle rides with his friends and traveling with his wife and dogs to different lakes in New Mexico.

Preceded in death along with his parents are his brothers Jim and Pat McGuire and nephews Daniel and Michele Canterini.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Penny McGuire. Children Rocky (Dawn) McGuire and Samantha McGuire of Oklahoma, and Jessica McGuire of New Mexico. Granddaughters Kayleigh McGuire and Emily (Brad) Krabacher, and his great grandson Raymond Krabacher. He is also survived by his sister Lea Canterini of Florida, and his two brothers Travis (Doris) and Glenn (Glenda) McGuire of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A Celebration of John's life will be held on Friday July 18th, 2025, from 3:00pm-5:00pm at French Funerals- Rio Rancho 1275 Unser Blvd. NE 87144.
