In Loving Memory of John J. Havens II
John J. Havens II, beloved father and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with cancer. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born on September 30, 1946, in El Paso, Texas, John lived a life full of love and laughter. He was a dedicated father to Stephanie, John, and Alissa and a cherished friend to many. His gentle spirit and generous heart touched everyone he met, leaving a lasting impact on his community.
John was known for his strong work ethic at the FAA Albuquerque Air Route Traffic Control Center where he worked for more than 30 years. He had a quick wit and an ability to make anyone feel at ease. He had a passion for golf, as well as a lifelong interest in planes and trains. He was a devoted Freemason and found joy in spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving children, Stephanie, John, and Alissa, and a host of family and friends who adored him. His legacy of love and friendship will continue to inspire those who knew him.
A celebration of John's life will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, beginning with a visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside Chapel. John will be forever remembered for the love he shared and the beautiful memories he left behind. May his soul rest in peace.
