John Conley, 67, passed away on August 7, 2026 just nine days before his 68th birthday

John shared 30 years of life and love with his wife, Deborah Conley who he married in 1996. He proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force as a special operations PAVE Low pilot. Following his military service, John continued his passion for aviation and spent more than two decades, helping train and prepare new pilots. Beginning in 2003 after retiring from the Air Force, he worked with the V 22 Osprey and the PAVE Low simulator, using his experience and knowledge to train and mentor the next generation of pilots. He was also a member of the veterans golf association ( VGA).

John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He has survived by his wife, Deborah Conley; his stepson, William Grant Inghram, and his significant other, Amber Faulknor; his stepdaughter, DeAnna, Inghram-Martin, and her husband, Michael Martin; and his six grandchildren, Alana Martin, Garret Inghram, Gavyn Martin, Chloe Inghram, Eli Inghram and Avery Inghram.

He has also survived by his mother, Margaret Conley; his brother Jim Conley, and Jim’s wife, Jennifer Conley.

He was proceeded in death by his brother Chuck Conley, and Doris Conley.

John also leaves behind his beloved Bengal cats, Porsche and Prada who were cherished members of his family

John will be remembered for his dedicated military service, his love of aviation, his commitment to teaching and mentoring others, his love of family, his friendships, and the many - lives he touched throughout his journey. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
