Joel Douglas West

On Sunday, July 19, 2020, Joel West, 46, beloved son,  husband, and father of two children, was called to his eternal resting place.

Joel entered this world on Wednesday, February 20, 1974 in Albuquerque, NM, born to Basil and Joyce West.  He will be deeply missed and is preceded in death by his father, Basil West.  Joel is survived by his wife, Melanie West; daughter's, Abigail West and Mackenzie West; mother, Joyce West; brother, Rusty West; niece's, Autumn West, Sophie West, Natassja Santistevan; nephew's, Eric Diehl, Tyler Santisevan, and Logan Diehl.

Joel enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and boater. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind spirit.

A celebration of life will be scheduled in the new year.
