Joe Willie Purdy

Joe Willie Purdy passed away at age 67 on Sunday, December 20th, 2020 at 9:10 pm. He was born March 16th, 1953 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Frank Purdy and Maxacine Ford. His childhood nickname was Pete. He is survived by his Life Partner Donna; his father Frank; brothers, Chester and Tommy Watson; and sister Lattie Watson.

Joe played football and graduated from Highschool in Milwaukee, WS. From England to Albuquerque, Joe served in the United States Air Force proudly. He then began working for the State of New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions. He was a hard-working man who never slowed down for a break. Even taking on a part time job bartending after retiring from the State.

Joe never looked behind, only forward. He was very outgoing and was deeply loved by all who knew him, and he was a very proud a Mason. Joe loved casinos; his eyes lit up when seeing the slot machines. Known to be generous and kind, Joe would happily give you his very last dollar.

Joe is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who’s lives he touched; he will forever hold a place in all our hearts.
