JoAnn Elaine (Farish) Patrizi was born on November 15, 1941, in Springfield, Ohio, to Earle Wayne and Ada Elizabeth (Martin) Farish. She passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
JoAnn married the love of her life, Nicholas (Nick) Patrizi, on May 21, 1960, in Sharon, Pennsylvania. They shared fifty-four years of marriage and were blessed with daughter, Devon, and son, Gary. She faithfully supported Nick throughout his military career, serving alongside him with unwavering love, strength, and sacrifice through every assignment, move, and challenge.
After Nick's retirement, JoAnn earned a bachelor's degree in English and psychology from Cameron University and a master's degree in guidance and counseling from Texas A&M University. She enjoyed a rewarding career at Great Plains Technology Center in Lawton, Oklahoma, and Autry Technology Center in Enid, Oklahoma, helping young people discover their strengths, explore career opportunities, and pursue their goals. As an active part of the Enid community, she developed many lifelong friendships. In 2021, JoAnn moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she enjoyed Southwestern experiences and nearness of family.
Having a gift for making people feel welcome and loved, she was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith. JoAnn found joy in encouraging others, treasuring time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed time with grandchildren, often reflecting fondly on homeschooling granddaughters, Caitlin and Meghan, including their shared trip to New England, as well as exploring England and France with Nathan, Jordan, and Nicole.
JoAnn is survived by son, Gary (Laura) Patrizi, their children, Nathan, Jordan, and Nicole Patrizi, son-in-law, Tim McAnally, his and Devon's daughters, Caitlin and Meghan McAnally, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Anthony Patrizi, daughter, Devon Leslie McAnally, parents, Earle Wayne and Ada Elizabeth (Martin) Farish, brother, Philip Martin Farish, and dear sister in Christ, Donna B. White.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home in Enid, OK from 9-10 am on Friday, August 21, 2026.
