Joan M. White

It is with great sadness, but with great joy that she has gone on to her rewards in heaven, that we share the passing of Joan M. White on December 20, 2023.

Joan was born on May 20, 1937, in Lansing Michigan. God came first in Joan's life. She was a strong Christian woman who put God first, but also loved her friends and neighbors as Jesus told us to. After God, she was devoted to her family. She had many jobs in retail throughout her life but always made time to help her husband Les coach their son's soccer teams and participate in many other family activities. She and Les raised their sons as strong Christian men with love, honesty, and dignity.

Joan truly loved being a grandma (Grammy) and loved all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joan is survived by her two sons and their wives, James and Amy White and Greg and Mona White; grandchildren, Micheala Saari (husband, Jon), Paul White (wife, Tanya), Katie White, Marcus Jones, Nicki White, Patrick Jones, Tessa White, and Bailee White; and her great-grandchildren, Lily Saari, Cora Aaron, Elizai Aaron, and Amelia Saari, and many sisters and brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Pride, her brothers, Richard and Ronald Pride, and her husband, Leslie White.
