Jeffrey Quinn Williams, a beloved father, brother, and uncle, passed away on September 3rd, 2025, at the age of 54. Born in Carlsbad, New Mexico in 1970 to Wanda and Richard Williams, he was the youngest of four children. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1988 and studied welding in college.
From a young age, Jeff held a passion for automotive mechanics and hunting, and was always working under the hood of some car (never a Ford) or packing up for the next hunting trip with his brothers. He moved to Albuquerque in 1991 where he began his career as an equipment technician at Intel, a company he dedicated more than twenty years of his life to. After moving to Albuquerque, he also met the mother of his children, Tracy (Alward) Williams, with whom he had three daughters. Jeff loved his girls very much and never stopped talking about how proud he was of them.
Beyond cars and guns, Jeff was also deeply appreciative of stories. He was interested in the emotions music could convey, the narratives woven into time, and all the secrets the world could hold. If he wasn't raving about his newest bigfoot or U.S. History discovery, he was crafting his own (tall) tales. Jeff would say he saw a dragon in Florida, jellyfish hunted him down at every beach he went to, and he single-handedly prevented an alien invasion. He was an adventurer, a collector of mysteries, and a dedicated repairer of things. Jeff was loved and will be deeply missed.
Jeff is preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Collin McCray, his brother-in-law, Scott McCray, and his parents, Wanda and Richard Williams. He is survived by his daughters, Miranda, Mariah, and Marisa Willams; his ex-wife, Tracy (Alward) Williams; his brothers and sister, Ricky, Tracy, and Debbie; and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.
