Jeffrey Coates

Jeffrey M Coates age 66, passed away after many years of health struggles. We rejoice knowing on Sunday, October 13, 2024 he went peacefully into the arms of our Lord Jesus.

Jeff was proceeded in death by parents Edward and Marianne Coates: brother, Edward Coates and daughter, Jenifer Coates. He is survived by wife, Wanda Coates; son, Jacob (Pauline) Conner; 3 beautiful granddaughters, Laylani, Heily and Kayla‐Marie. Brothers, Steve (Stephanie) Coates, Brandon (Christine) Coates; sister, Vanessa Sandoval, aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeff had many friends here in New Mexico and in Chicago some friendships lasting over 50 years. Jeff worked as truck driver for New Word Van Lines and Yellow Freight. He retired 23 years ago and was able to continue to enjoy many activities and adventures. He loved fishing, auctions, casinos and being a Papa. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, at French ‐Lomas, at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
