With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our precious daughter, Jasmine Lilly Fresquez, lovingly known as "Jazzy."
Through her time on earth was far too short, Jazzy's life left an everlasting mark on everyone who loved her. Born with Trisomy 13, she faced extraordinary challenges throughout her journey, inspiring courage, faith, and hope in those around her. Her life reminded us that even the smallest souls can leave the greatest impact.
To her family, Jazzy was their little sweet cinnamon roll and precious hummingbird. With her long, beautiful eyelashes and her unforgettable presence, she was a tiny treasure who filled their hearts with a live beyond measure. The little things that made her uniquely Jazzy will forever be cherished and remembered by everyone who loved her.
Her mother, Jessica, was her fiercest advocate, holding onto hope and fighting for every possibility. Her father, Jordan, loved her deeply and was by her side during her final moments. Their greatest dream was to bring their sweet girl home, surrounded b the family who loved her dearly.
Jazzy was lived by her grandparents, Amma, Papa Jesse, and her other grandparents, who will forever hold a place in her story, Amma and Papa Jesse visited her every day throughout her hospital journey. Papa would gently rub her little feet so she could feel his presence, a tender expression of the special bond that will forever be treasured.
She leaves behind her loving parents and her six siblings: Vivian, Iris, Baby Jordan, Kaden, Jax, and Luka. She will forever be their beloved baby sister, a precious part of their family whose memory will live on through generations.
Her family finds comfort in the words of Psalm 91:4: "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." They take comfort in imagining their sweet girl resting safely in God's loving arms, free from pain and suffering.
Jazzy's life was never defined by her diagnosis, but by the live she inspires, the hope she carried, and the family forever changed by her presence. She was deeply wanted, fiercely loved, and worth every moment of the fight.
Five months was not enough. A lifetime would not have been enough. But our love for you, Jazzy, will last forever.
Until we hold you again, our sweet cinnamon roll, our hummingbird, our beautiful girl.
