Janet Beran Littleton, age 94, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1954, passed away on 17 November 2025. She is survived by her son, Paul Edward Littleton, of Los Alamos, NM; granddaughter, Katelyn Michelle Waggoner and husband, Corey Brandon Waggoner, of Amarillo, TX; great-grandson, Casey Ray Waggoner, of Amarillo, TX; great-grandson, Kolby Cade Waggoner, of Amarillo, TX. Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Max Littleton; her son, Rodney Alan Littleton; her father, Frank Robert Beran; her mother, Anna Evelyn Beran; her brother, Kenneth Beran; and her brother, Robert Beran.

Janet was born on 20 December 1930 in Lexington, NE. She graduated from Lexington High School in 1949 and attended the University of Nebraska, graduating with a bachelor's degree in art history in 1953. While she was attending university, she met her future husband, Max Littleton, and they were married on 11 April 1954. After receiving a master's degree in art education from the University of New Mexico, she taught art at the junior high/middle school level.
