Janet Andrea Jefferson

Janet Andrea Jefferson, 74, beloved. wife and mother was called to her eternal resting place on Sunday, December 6, 2020. She entered this world on Tuesday, February 12, 1946 in Elmira, New York, born to Wayne and Arlene Jennings. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gregory Jefferson, and sons Wayne, Scott, and Andrew. Janet was an Army wife, from Saturday, December 14, 1968, until Gregory's retirement on Monday, August 31, 1987. She moved to many places during her Army wife time, finally resting in Albuquerque late in 1982. She was, at times a substitute teacher, and more often, an avid bowler. She bowled in many leagues over the years, with her husband, and later, with her son, Wayne. She was a team captain, and league secretary for almost all of her bowling career. A webcasting visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. A Private family graveside will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
