James "Jim" B. Jones

James B. Jones “Jim”, 91, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Jim was born in Warren County, KY on November 24, 1926 somewhere near Bowling Green. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Elvis Willard and America Frances Young Jones; wife, Hylan; daughter-in-law, Judy; dear friend, Allene Sultemeier; sisters, Lois, Orene, Lucille and Ruby; and brothers, Roy, Raleigh and Leonard. Jim is survived by sons, Wayne (Linda), Mike (Michele); and daughter, Debbie Roth (Pat); granddaughters, Kaylyn Roth and Amy Roth; grandsons, Ron (Darlene), Matt (Belinda), Chris (Susan), Colin and Evan (Amy); brothers, Wendell and Roger; and sister, Edna; great-granddaughters, Rachel (Austin), Kendall, Keira and Savannah; great-grandsons, Ryan, Kyle, Rio, Tyler and Miles; and his sweet little dog, Coco.

Jim was one of a kind and lived independently until January 3, 2018 of this year. He proudly served in the US Army. Many thanks to Presbyterian Hospice and Rogers House for their loving and compassionate care during his last days. Jim was a longtime member of Montgomery Church of Christ and had the assurance of heaven because of his faith in Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior.

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at Montgomery Church of Christ, 7201 Montgomery NE. A private burial will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home.
