James Curry passed away on June 19th, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jim was a family man and combat veteran who served in the Army Reserves and later the Air Force for 22 years. He worked as a jet engine mechanic and served two tours with the Thunderbirds. Jim was born in Fort Pierce Florida and later met his wife while he was stationed in Las Vegas, NV. They got married in the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas and had three children. Jim enjoyed an active life with his family, including entertaining and traveling together.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Darlene, and his daughter, Cynthia DiFrancesca.

He is survived by his children, Cheryll (Robert) Barton and Chris (Valerie) Curry, Terry DiFrancesca; his grandchildren, Kristy (Steve) Sartain, Michelle (Mike) Mulligan, Melissa (Jimmy) Huffman, Shane (Aliccia) Curry, Stephen (Alli) Curry, and Pamela (Adrian) Collins; and his great-grandchildren, Madison Harmon, Shaylei Huffman, Aidan Sartain, Easton Huffman, Isabella Curry, Zachary Curry, Banks Curry, and Brooks Curry.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026 - French Funerals Lomas Chapel at 11:00am.
