James Cromwell Ash, a resident of Albuquerque since 1971, died peacefully December 9, 2017.
Jim was blessed with family members; sons, James J. Ash and wife, Patricia of the UK, William B. Ash and wife, Johanna, of Corrales, Dale A. Ash and wife, Judith of Albuquerque, Gary P. Ash and wife, Sarah, of the UK; and daughter, Elizabeth Lynn Enslin of Albuquerque. He was grandfather to Renee, Joseph, Brian, Nathan, Hannah, Jason, Christian, Rebecca, Jessica, Jolene, Stephen, and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; and daughter, Linda Jo Ash.
Jim was a Michigan native, one of three sons of Doctor and Mrs. William S. Ash. He was a WWII US Air Force veteran. Jim was active in the field of freight transportation and, with the family, the world of antiques until his retirement.
Cremation has taken place. A family remembrance will be held in the near future back in Michigan where he and Elizabeth will be laid to rest.
