Jacob Shroyer

Jacob passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was a resident of Portland, Oregon for the last ten years. Jacob was an accomplished hair stylist at Bishop's barbershop and a talented DJ at CC Slaughters club in downtown Portland, Oregon. Jacob was a strong independent self-made man who loved to make people happy and feel good about themselves.

Jacob is survived by his devoted mother, Shirley Gonzales; brothers, Benjamin Gonzales and Bobby Shroyer Jr; and his grandpa, William Gonzales, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Linda, Frances, Billy, Robert and spouse, Susan, Juanita and spouse, Charles; and many cousins and friends; by his father, Robert Shroyer; and the entire Shroyer family. He is also survived by his loving partner, Eric Duncan and the Jeff Duncan family. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandma, Alice Gonzales.

A Memorial Service will be held for Jacob on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming.
