Jacob Chavez, age 28, beloved son and brother, was called to his eternal resting place on Saturday, July 29, 2020. He entered this world on Wednesday, November 20, 1991, in Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Sandoval; stepfather, Greg Sandoval; sister, Deja Wakley; brother-in-law, Dustin Wakley; father, Randolph Chavez; his grandmothers, Deluvina Martinez and Eileen Sandoval and Jacob's partner, Alisa Geissler. Jacob is now in heaven with his baby sister, Audriana Sandoval, his grandparents, Moses & Soraida Romero, George Sandoval and Alfred Martinez.
Jacob had a curious and beautiful soul; he was so very creative and alive. He graced our lives with his many amazing talents. He was a prolific musician, an amazing artist who used his skills to draw, photograph and write poems, and philosophize. He was particularly interested in metaphysics and spirituality about the mind, body, and soul.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020, at St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, viewing will be from 8:30 a.m. with a Mass at 9:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107. Social distancing, no physical contact of the family and mandatory face masks are required inside and outside the Church and at the cemetery.
