J. Marvin Smith

J. Marvin Smith, 84, died February 19, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Estella; his daughter, Bernice Isabelle Smith; grandson, Jonathan Smith and wife, Liliana; granddaughter, Samantha Rose Gonzales; his sister, Marie Smith and his brother, Robert Smith; and many other family and friends. Marvin was a hard working strong willed man whose strong nature helped guide his family. He was a man of God and lived his life in such a manner. Marvin was always willing to help whoever asked, he was loved by his neighbors who knew they could rely on him if they ever needed help. Marvin was cherished by his family and always led them in the right direction. He will forever be loved and missed by his family and friends and his memory will live on every day in the hearts of so many. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, February 25, 2016, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 26, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
