Izabella (Asher) Garcia

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved daughter/baby sister, Izabella (Asher & Ella/El) Amariah Garcia, age 15, gained her wings on Monday, May 5th, 2025. Izabella (Asher) Garcia was born on Saturday, July 18th, 2009, in Albuquerque, NM; the youngest of seven─everyone's baby.

Asher was a full of life and loving teenager, who enjoyed everyone's company and wanted to be everyone's friend. Asher loved music and singing at the top of her lungs, attending comic cons/cons and cosplaying, going out for bubble tea, loved food─was a true foodie, shopping, and antiquing. Asher danced like no one was watching and even if they were danced regardless.

Asher was so creative, artsy, and fashionable. Hobbies: collecting stuffed animals, nutcrackers, and clowns, editing clips/videos they made, drawing, and sharing fun facts─especially when it came to clowns and jesters; this was a passion.

This kiddo was a light that brightened up everyone's day. Words cannot express how much she will be missed by her family and friends. The world is a dimmer place losing her light.

She is survived by her mother, Rose Marie Garcia; and older siblings: sister and brother-in-law, Yolanda and Kevin Archibeque; sister, Mariza Arciniega-Garcia; and brothers, Elija Arciniega-Garcia, Diego Garcia, Mario Garcia, and Timothy Garcia.

A celebration of Asher's life will be held Friday, May 23, 2025, 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University, with visitation beginning at 5:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family asks if you could donate unopened toys/stuffed animals. Asher always said their love language was gift giving. We would love to honor their love language one final time. The family plans on donating these toys to a foster organization Asher had volunteered at─ at start of the year.
