Hyman Eisenberg, 97, beloved Father and Husband, has left us on November 21, 2018 and is now moving on to his next adventure. He was born on January 4, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY, to Morris and Dora Eisenberg. He is survived by his son, Matthew Eisenberg; daughter, Karen Coulston; daughter-in-law, Ellen Eisenberg; son-in-law Rich Coulston; grandchildren, Rachel Coulston, Amy Eisenberg, and Robin Cagan; and great-grandchild, Henry Coulston-Hood.
Hyman re-invented himself several times during his life. He worked in the Brooklyn Navy Yard and helped build battleships including the Missouri and the New Jersey. He also worked as an electrician before going into the TV and Stereo business. Hyman then moved to Albuquerque from NY in 1978 and had positions as an electrician in private industry and then with the city of Albuquerque, where he enjoyed being Shop Steward to represent his fellow workers. After that he became involved in the auto industry finally finding a niche for himself obtaining vehicle Titles.
In addition, he also enjoyed membership in the Piano Source Music Group, Defined Fitness, Table Tennis Senior Champion, Racquetball, local poker groups, the Jewish War Veterans, Hearing Loss Association of Albuquerque, Prostate Cancer Support Group, Chabad and Temple Albert.
Hyman made friends quickly and had many long-term friendships including neighbors and members of all of the organizations that he belonged to. He is beloved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery located at 700 Yale Blvd. SE, in the Jewish War Veterans section.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice--- as sending flowers is not customary in the Jewish tradition.
