Henry Griego Sanchez

Henry G. Sanchez, born on May 16, 1922, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 21, 2018. He is proceeded in death by his father, Juan Jose Griego Sanchez, his mother, Rosita Chavez Sanchez, his wife of fifty-eight years, Rosie Figueroa Sedillo Sanchez, and his oldest son, Henry Reyes Griego Sanchez Jr.. He is also proceeded in death by sisters, Isabellani Griego, Bessie Felix, Aurora Landman, Adalia Chavez, Ferminia Torrez. He is survived by a sister, Mary Benavidez, brothers, Edwin Griego Sanchez, Paul Griego Sanchez, Orlando Griego Sanchez, sons Leroy Sanchez and Johnny Sanchez, daughters Annabell Perea, Margaret Lopez, and RoseMary Heister, seventeen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Our father served proudly in the Army during WWII. He loved gardening, hunting, exercising, boxing, dancing and listening to music. His motto in life was: I Never Give Up. We will dearly miss him.

Services for Henry Sanchez will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018, beginning with a Meet and Greet at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4500 Seven Bar Loop NW 87114 (Corner of Golf Course Road and McMahon).  A Graveside Service and Dedication will take place at 1:30 p.m., at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE , Albuquerque, NM 87102.
