Helen Sisneros

In the early morning of Sunday December 17th our mom bid goodbye to her children and entered into The Kingdom of God.

Helen was proceeded in death by her husband, Bernardo Sisneros, Sr. who passed away in 2009. They were married 66 yrs.

Helen is survived by her seven children, who were present in her life and ensured that she had companionship on a daily basis. Her children were present throughout her last days and hours assuring her of their love and devotion. Her daughter Christina was holding her hand at the moment of her passing.

Helen is survived by her sister, Lola Perez of LA Calif.; and seven children, Bernice Sanchez (Gary), Priscilla Baca (Michael McGriff), Mary Margaret Griego, Loretta Torres (George), Bernard Sisneros, Jr. (Bennina), Christina Garcia (Gilbert) and David Sisneros (Marisol). Helen had 18 grandchildren, 25 great- grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren. Helen left a lasting legacy in their lives, many of whom visited her, held her hand, told stories and shed tears, in her last days.

Pallbearers are her grandchildren, Paul Baca, Matthew Torres, David Sisneros, Carlos Sisneros, Nathaniel Sisneros, and great-grandson Isiah Sisneros. Honorary pallbearers Susan Sanchez and Greg Sanchez.

A service for Helen will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at FRENCH-University, followed by burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
