Helen Montoya

Helen (Elena Ruiz) Montoya, born in Escabosa, NM on Monday, December 18, 1933, entered Eternal Life on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eufemio and Ramona (Baca) Ruiz, her husband, Luis Montoya, three sons: Robert, Ronald and Paul Aragon, and stepdaughter, Anna Marie Sanchez. She is survived by son, Phillip Aragon, daughter, Yolanda (Robert) Cole, stepdaughter, Giovanni (Donald) Griego and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great children.

Rosary will be recited on Monday, January 8, 2024; 8:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St Josephs Drive NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. Entombment will follow at 11:00 a.m.; Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
