Helen M. McComas

Helen M. McComas, age 82, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella Brewer; her in-laws, Darrell and Beulah McComas; and her daughter, Donna Caristo. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jack McComas, Sr.; daughter, Debra McComas; son, Jack McComas, Jr.; and daughter, Denise Mozingo; grandchildren, Tammy and Kandy Vallejos, Darrell and Adam McComas, and Daniel Sturdivant; and nine great-grandchildren.

Helen always presented herself as very classy lady and everyone loved her. Up until very recently, she enjoyed going into work at the family business, McComas Sales. Helen very much enjoyed every one of 49 cruises that she and Jack took together. A funeral service will be held at the Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple, 6600 Zuni Rd. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. with reception to follow.
