Helen Marie Fitzsimmons

Helen Marie Fitzsimmons, age 94, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016. Helen loved traveling and cooking but most of all had a deep love for her family. Her generosity and love will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Helen is preceded in death by her son, Bobby Fitzsimmons; sisters, Ruth Wells and Clemie Elms; and parents, Gideon and Cora Smith. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Robert Fitzsimmons; son, Tom Fitzsimmons; granddaughters, Margaret Duran, Holly Fitzsimmons, and Susan Fitzsimmons; great-grandchildren, Feliciano, Aleena, and Lillianna Duran. The family would like to thank the many caregivers that had been caring for Helen over the years. A graveside service will be held Friday, February 12, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Grants Memorial Park Cemetery.
