Helen Virginia (Ginnie) Brown 92 of Albuquerque went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2025.
Born October 16, 1933 in Palmyra, Missouri. Ginnie was the daughter of Floyd and Helen Meyer. She graduated from Seymour High School in Payson, IL in 1951. She first married Roger Reinebach and had 4 children then later married Raymond Brown.
Ginnie relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she resided most of her life. She was a member of the Family Worship Center renamed New Soul where she distributed food boxes and fed the homeless for many years with her husband Raymond.
She had an antique shop called Possum Holler Antiques located in the Antique Co-Op in Albuquerque. Ginnie spent most of her time painting and was a member of the Rio Rancho Art Association. Her art work was displayed and sold at several venues around Albuquerque.
Survivors include 3 daughters Patricia Reinebach of New London, MO, Vicki Reinebach of Palmetto, Fl, and Kathy Brown of Rio Rancho, NM; one son Bruce Reinebach(Brenda) of Payson, IL; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren; one sister Betty Jenkins of Liberty, IL. and one brother Kenneth Meyer (Janet) Payson, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
Ginnie was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, son-in-law Donald Brown and Grandson Brent Reinebach.
Funeral services will be held Friday October 31st at 1 lam at French's Funeral Home 9300 Golf Course Albuquerque NM followed by graveside service and burial at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM at 2:30 pm.
Visitation will be held Thursday October 30th at French's Funeral Home 9300 Golf Course Albuquerque NM from 5pm to 7pm.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Roadrunner Food Bank of Albuquerque or Joy Junction Homeless Shelter in Albuquerque.
