Harvey Lee Webb

One of the most beautiful chapters of his life began at just 17 years old in Germany, where he met Rositta, who was 16 and became the love of his life. Their story began as teenagers and grew into a lifetime of love, partnership, memories, and family. They were married in 1972 and in 1983 they were blessed with their beautiful daughter, Ashley, who quickly became the center of his world. He adored her and was tremendously proud of the woman she became and all she accomplished throughout her life.

Harvey started his career in banking and eventually joined his father in the construction industry in 1983. Upon the death of his father, Harvey and Rositta became the proud owners of Grant's Steel, Sash, Door, & Hardware, Inc for 43 years. He was respected for his skills, vision and craftsmanship, work ethic, high standards, and attention to detail. He made many lifelong friendships with contractors, suppliers and his employees. Harvey was a man of strong character, quiet strength, and unwavering integrity and he believed in working hard, keeping his word, helping others, and always doing what was right.

Harvey spent many weekends walking his dogs in Bear Canyon, fishing in Colorado, going to Lobo games, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and doing "whatever" the girls wanted to do.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we are grateful for the extraordinary gift of having had him in our lives. We will forever cherish the memories we made, the lessons he taught us, and the love that connected us. He will be missed more than words can express and remembered forever.

At his request, no services will be held. Harvey's ashes will be spread in a private ceremony by his family. He would be honored by a donation to Animal Humane New Mexico or Alzheimer's Association.
