Harry Nash Hodges Jr., born on April 11, 1940, in Winchester, VA, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Albuquerque, NM, where he had been a resident for many years. Harry was a beloved father, uncle, and friend, celebrated for his intellect, curiosity, and love for life.

A proud veteran, Harry served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, where he worked on a multitude of projects that reinforced his passion for engineering and problem-solving. Following his service, he continued to make significant contributions to the aerospace industry as an Engineering Manager at TRW. His career allowed him to travel all over the world, engaging with diverse cultures and experiences that enriched his life.

Harry was an avid lover of various ethnic foods, always on the hunt for new flavors and culinary experiences. He was a voracious reader and had an insatiable curiosity for a wide range of subjects, especially history. His inquisitive nature kept him constantly thinking and exploring new ideas.

Harry was a family man who devoted himself to being there for his loved ones. He is survived by his daughter, Eileen Kovacs, along with his step-son Steven Bory with wife Darlene, step-daughter Susan Bory Carpenter with husband Robert, nephews, David Howarth with wife Meredith and William Howarth with wife Carrie, and his niece, Sara Wade. He will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for the way he touched the lives of those around him.

A memorial service celebrating Harry's remarkable life will be held on May 15, 2026, at 4:00 PM at FRENCH-Lomas. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Harry's memory and the impact he made on each of their lives.

Harry was preceded in death by: Harry Hodges Sr., Sara Hodges, Deedra Hodges, Elizabeth Howarth, Christel Hodges and Shoko K Hodges.
