Harry E. Blakeslee

Harry E. Blakeslee, age 86, of Albuquerque passed away on April 24, 2018.

Harry is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elfriede Blakeslee; son, Robert Blakeslee of Omaha, NE; and sister, Betty Lou Noeker of Auburn, PA.

He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelors. Then went on to earn his Master’s Degree from Webster University. After serving over 20 years, he retired honorably from the United States Army. He went on to work as an auditor with the Army Corps of Engineers for over 24 years. He was a loyal member of Elks Lodge #461 in Albuquerque. Harry enjoyed travelling with his wife all over the country and abroad.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2018, 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
