Habib Abi-Khalil, 61, of Tijeras, NM, passed on February 5,2026. Habib was born on March 23, 1964 to Anis and Linda Abi-Khalil, in the village of Kahale, Lebanon. He moved to The United States in 1986 to attend the University of New Mexico. Upon graduation, Habib was offered a position with the New Mexico Department of Transportation, where he worked for 26 years before retiring and opening an office for Horrocks Engineers. He will be remembered for his unwavering support of the community as well as the deep love he had for his friends and family.

Habib is survived by his wife of 37 years, Heather Abi-Khalil, his son, Rami and his wife Alexa, his daughter Maya and her husband Ryan Buchholz and his two grandsons, Asher and Maverick.

A memorial service will be held at Citizen Church at 10500 Copper Ave. Albuquerque, NM, 87123, on February 21, 2026 at 10:00am with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
